In 2010, I was chosen to create the official Kentucky Derby Festival poster art, and translate the design to multiple product types.
A few years later, I got hired by the company that made all the products - All Pro Championships.
One of my favorite things about the job was using Adobe Illustrator.
I had mainly used Photoshop, so getting more experience with vector art significantly expanded my skill set.
I used Illustrator to create a huge variety of screen printed and embroidered products, as well as marketing graphics with partner logos to keep things nice and clean.
Since then, I've created unique workflows to translate digital drawing and even 3d rendering to vector art. I've also done some DTG printing, and hope to continue learning new ways to create awesome printed products.
